Everyone is worried about the future these days—and it's no wonder. The way things are going, everyone has reason to fear what will happen to them, their family, their city, their country, their world. This planet has become a frightening and stressful place to live. Sometimes you wish you could find a hideaway, nail the windows and doors closed, and keep the world out.
It doesn't do any good to pretend the problems aren't there, but you don't have to be afraid, because I'm looking out for you. When fears overwhelm you, hide away in Me. When you find yourself in a dangerous situation, call on Me for help and then rest assured that I will be there to protect you. When you can't watch over your loved ones, commit them to My care. When a national or international crisis erupts, I will provide a safe haven for you and yours.
And even if the unthinkable happens—if you or your loved ones are taken from this life—know that a better life awaits on the other side. Heaven is where all this world's wrongs are made right.
So you see, although there's plenty you could worry about, you don't have to worry about a thing. I'm taking care of you!

Come away

Come, take some time away from the busy scene. With so many distractions, it’s hard to hear My voice. Come away, relax, put down your heavy load. I want to whisper words of love and reassurance to you.
Come away to where it’s just you and Me. It doesn’t have to be a particular place; it can be anywhere, anytime. Just take a few minutes to connect to Me, read My Word, and hear the words I have for you personally. I’ll tell you things you’d like to know and whisper wondrous secrets in your ear. I can even tell you things that I’ve never told anyone else before. I’m full of surprises and I’ll give them to you if you come and listen.
Take a moment away from your work to stop and hear My voice speaking to your heart-My words of love for you, just you.

Losing a Friend

He was great, wasn’t he? He came into your life out of nowhere and made you feel special. He understood you. He cared about what you liked, what you felt, and what you did. He showed you that you mattered.
But things have changed. He moved on, lives far away now, and you miss him. You miss the fun times. You wonder if you’ll ever have anything like that again. Yes, you can.
There are other people in the world who need you and who would value your love and friendship. Maybe it won’t be the same kind of friendship, but there’s a lot of joy to be found in going out of your way to be a friend to someone new. You’ll still miss your best friend, but you’ll be less lonely.
One day I’ll bring someone very special into your life, someone who will reassure you, in a whole new way, of how much I love you. In the meantime, every friendship can be a sign of My love for you.
You can fill a big need in someone’s life, and improve your own life while you’re at it, just by reaching out with a hand of love and friendship.

Convey faith, not overload

Many responsibilities and a heavy workload can seem overwhelming. The natural tendency is to work harder and faster to try to keep up, but when that happens, your busy spirit comes to the fore and blocks My Spirit of love, peace, and faith from coming through. That overburdened spirit is wearing on you, and wearing on those around you.
This is what happened to Martha—the sister of Mary and Lazarus—during My earthly ministry. Martha tried to be the perfect hostess to Me and nearly folded under the self-imposed pressure. Meanwhile, Mary just enjoyed being around Me, listening to and learning from Me. I appreciated Martha’s love and concern, but Mary was actually easier to be around. Martha was always so concerned with making everything perfect that she would get frustrated with others when it seemed they weren’t showing the same concern (Luke 10:38–42).
When you fret and worry and show yourself to be under pressure, you don’t convey faith and trust to others; you convey pressure and concern and overload. No one needs that!
Others may appreciate all you’re trying to do—often things that will benefit them—but usually they would rather see you happy and relaxed, trusting that everything is under My perfect control. So would I!

My Love only sees the good in you

When I gaze upon you, I see not the blemishes. I see not the faults and the failings, for I love you. As one who is in love overlooks the things that others may find fault with, because of his love, so it is with Me. 
I am even as a blind man who sees no faults or failings, who sees with the hands, and touches and feels the softness, and smells the cleanness and the perfume, and hears the words of love, and knows just from this that his wife is beautiful and lovely, having never even seen her. Though she may even see herself as homely, he sees not this way. For he feels the love and he touches with his hands, and he feels the softness and the beauty. So it is with Me when I gaze upon you. For as one who overlooks the faults and loves in spite of them, so am I. As one who overlooks the blemishes and loves anyway, so am I.

How faith works

If faith no larger than a mustard seed can move a mountain (Matthew 17:20), you figure that your faith must be small indeed, because your prayers seem to go unanswered. That can be disheartening, I know, but it shouldn't stop you from asking Me for a miracle when you need one.
There are a couple of things you should know about faith: First, it's not something you can earn or muster up yourself, but it's a gift from your heavenly Father. Second, like a muscle, faith needs nourishment and exercise to grow. That spiritual nourishment comes from reading and absorbing God's Word. You exercise your faith by acting on it. So nourish and put your faith to work daily through your prayers and actions.
You don't have to wait till you feel you have strong faith to begin receiving My help, though. If you need results now but feel you don't have enough faith to warrant them, ask Me to increase your faith. Be like the man in the Bible who begged Me to heal his son, who could not hear or speak. The man had every reason to doubt that things could ever be different, and he did. He knew that his faith was weak, so when I asked him if he believed I could heal his son he replied, "Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief." The moment he confessed his inadequacy and asked for My help, he received both faith and the miracle—his son was instantly healed!

Prayer’s healing power

The human body is vulnerable to sickness and disease. That’s part of the human condition. There are some things you can do—some precautions you can take to help maintain good health, and some remedies you can use to facilitate the natural healing process—but none of these are cure-alls, none of them get permanent results, and sometimes they simply aren’t enough. Sometimes you need something more—spiritual help. That help is Mine to freely give, and I make it available to you through prayer. Your prayers for healing set in motion My spiritual power, which can then go to work on fixing your physical body.
You can’t see electricity, but you know it exists because you can see its effects. And because others have learned how to harness electricity’s power, you can put it to work for you. You flip the switch and the light comes on or the appliance does what it was made to do, and your life is better for it. Well, prayer is just as real, but far more wonderful. It’s the means for bringing heavenly spiritual power to your earthly plane—power that can do all sorts of marvelous things, including heal your body when needed.
But just as all the electricity in the world won’t do you a bit of good unless you tap into it, all that heavenly power to heal won’t do you a bit of good unless you avail yourself of it. Flip the switch, connect with Me, and My infinite resources are at your command.

No reason to hide

You are ashamed of some of the things you hold inside, but I see them all and I love you anyway. I see the beauty of your heart. I see what you can become, and I see what you are already becoming through your love for Me. Don’t think that you are unworthy in My sight. Don’t hide in shame, for I see it all and love you just the same.
My Spirit brings love and healing where hurt abounds. It brings understanding to the rejected. It brings life where there is despair.
I know your heart and I know what’s wrong, but I see beauty there as well. You love Me and you love others, and that’s what counts with Me.
Believe in My love for you. Treasure it even though you don’t understand how I can love you. I love to love you because I know your need for Me is great. Deep inside you long for Me to make you whole, and that makes Me treasure you all the more.

I am the good Gardener. I have planted a beautiful garden of special flowers. In My garden, each flower is different and unique. Each one serves its own purpose and has its own place in the garden and in the heart of the Gardener.
You are unique to Me. I know all about your gifts, your talents, your battles, your weaknesses, and all the things that bother you about yourself. I know about the nagging problems that you can't seem to overcome. I know your strengths and your weaknesses, your idiosyncrasies and all the funny things about you that make you an individual. I know your heart's desires and your secret longings.
I know about the times that you compare yourself to others. I know about the times that you think negatively about yourself, when your weaknesses bother, embarrass and discourage you. I know about all these things and I love you anyway.

What’s True?

It can sometimes be hard, with so much information coming at you from every direction, to know what’s true-what you can believe and who you can trust. If you were to go by what you read and hear in the news media, movies, books, magazines, and the Internet, you could end up quite confused about a lot of things. One day you’re told that a certain thing will make you happy, or that such and such is the coolest thing, and the next day it’s something else. But I know what’s true, I see exactly where things are really at, and if you ask Me, I’ll let you in on the scoop.
I can give you wisdom and discernment. With these spiritual gifts, you can have insight into people and situations, as well as into the media, and be able to tell whether they’re good or bad, right or wrong, whether they’re to be trusted or not. These two gifts will make you much smarter and get you a lot farther than anything you might learn from any classroom or textbook. They’re Mine to give. You’ve just got to ask.

Joint account

What if someone told you, “You just won a million dollars! It’s being deposited in your bank account today!” You would be elated! You’d be so happy, you’d run around telling everyone, and then you’d plan how to spend the money. You’d think of all the comfort and enjoyment this money would bring you, and how you could use some of it to help others.
Well, did you know that you have much more than that at your disposal? When you received Me as your Savior, I added your name to My own account with the Bank of Heaven. Now what’s Mine is yours! You have unlimited spiritual resources that could make your life better in every way—more than enough for you and others, no matter how much you give away—and that’s the point. “Freely you have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).
How do you get these blessings?—By withdrawing from our account in the Bank of Heaven. Just come to Me in prayer. Draw on My love, peace, solutions, supply, satisfaction, and much, much more. Then pass the blessings on to others. This is the surest way to make and keep friends—by giving them the true riches, heavenly gifts that will never pass away.

Embrace change

Are you set in your ways, or do you embrace new ideas? Do you welcome suggestions from others? Are you open to learning and trying new things? Are you willing to change things if someone else finds a better way?
It’s often easier to keep doing things the old way than it is to change, or at least it can seem so at first. Change takes time and effort, but good changes are worth it in the long run. You shouldn’t resist change, but you shouldn’t go to the other extreme either of changing things just for the sake of change.
Some things never change—My love for you and My basic commandments and promises in the Bible—but in other areas I delight in change. Situations change. People change. You change! I don’t like things to stagnate. I like innovation and progress, and I want you to as well. Be flexible. Flow with the new and move with Me, and you’ll be much easier for Me and others to work with.
How do you know whether or not a certain change would be beneficial? The surest way is to ask Me. Get My stamp of approval. I can help you recognize opportunities for positive change and spare you from missteps. If a new idea has My blessing, your efforts will be rewarded as you act on it.

The marriage triangle

Marriage is the joining of hearts, that two may become one. It’s a wonderful thing with wonderful rewards for those who are willing to make the necessary sacrifices—and there are some sacrifices involved. To become one, each partner must be willing to give and change. The man must give of himself to become all that his wife needs him to be, and the woman must give of herself to become everything that her husband needs her to be. That’s the kind of self-sacrificial love that the strongest, happiest marriages are built on. Where do you get such love? Only from Me.
Picture your marriage as a triangle, with the two of you at the bottom two corners and Me at the top. As you both climb the sides of the triangle to come closer to Me, the source of love, you are also drawn closer together. The way to greater love and greater closeness with each other is to climb closer to Me.
The closer you both come to Me, the more love you will have to share with others. And the more love you share, the closer others will be drawn to both you and Me. It will start with those nearest and dearest to you—your children and other family members—and grow from there. As I said, marriage is a wonderful thing with wonderful rewards—so wonderful, in fact, that the sacrifices cease to be sacrifices.

L’effet de la prière

Prier n’est pas le moins que l’on puisse faire, c’est le plus que l’on puisse faire. Réfléchis un instant : si prier est le plus que l’on puisse faire, pourquoi ne pries-tu pas davantage ?
La prière est puissante, et si tu désires Ma puissance, tu dois prier. Qu’est-ce que la prière ? C’est ton lien avec le divin. C’est communiquer. C’est se brancher sur la Source. C’est l’accomplissement du plus grand devoir de l’homme. La prière est sérénité, foi, confiance absolue.
La prière fait descendre sur toi Ma paix. La prière engendre l’action. Elle t’élève. La prière change le cours de l’histoire. La prière guérit. Elle fait revivre. Elle restaure. Elle construit. La prière est humilité. La prière, c’est Mon amour. La prière Me touche et Me pousse à agir. La prière obtient des résultats. La prière est le salut de l’humanité.
Mais, par-dessus tout, la prière nous unit, toi et Moi. La prière nous fait devenir un pour que tu puisses te revêtir de Mes pouvoirs.

Invest in the best

Some of you kindhearted souls are quick to jump in and help whenever you see someone in need. Being caring and compassionate are wonderful qualities, but it’s also important to be realistic. Don’t overextend yourself to the neglect of your primary responsibilities or to the point of feeling overwhelmed and giving up. You can avoid this pitfall by being careful and prayerful about what you commit to do for others.
Your time and resources are limited, so you need to invest them wisely. When you see a needy situation that could turn out to be a costly or long-term project, consult with Me and get My perspective before you commit yourself to helping. You need My help to see things in the proper perspective, because if you don’t, you won’t be as effective as you could be. You might get deeply immersed in one project, only to find that there is a needier situation just around the corner. Or if you try to “run on empty,” you won’t get far or be much help to anyone.
Keep in mind, too, that sometimes when someone is struggling, while there may be something you could do to help, I might know that it’s actually better for the person to work through the problem with only Me to lean on. Or I may know that someone else is in a better position to help that person than you. This is sometimes hard to accept, but in some situations the best thing to do is to step back—to pray for the one who is struggling but not to get involved beyond that.
Recognizing a need is only an indication of what I might want you to do. Check with Me before getting involved, because I may have a better plan.

Love’s reward

If you feel you’re imposing on loved ones and friends by asking for their help when you’re sick, you need to try to see the situation as I do. Yes, it’s usually a sacrifice and means extra work for them, but the potential blessings far outweigh the burdens.
When others come to your aid, it brings out the best in them. It gives them a chance to be self-sacrificial, tender, compassionate, patient, and cheerful, and that puts them in line to receive the spiritual blessings that follow as surely as day follows night.
This is all part of My wonderful plan, the plan of upgrading all of your spirits by giving you special opportunities to give and receive love. Both bring you closer to Me, because I am love. Whenever there is a love exchange, My presence becomes more palpable, and that puts everything else into perspective.
And just as the extra time you spend praying, communing with Me, and tanking up on My Word strengthens your faith and deepens your connection with Me, the time they spend praying and claiming My promises for you will strengthen their faith and relationship with Me. It also strengthens the bond of love between you.
When the days are weary and the nights long, I will be as close to them as I am to you. Moment by moment and task by task, I will be there to lighten their load, lift their spirits above the circumstances, fill their hearts with perfect peace, and give them the strength and grace to keep being My blessing to you.

Help in Trying Times

I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears, and they are precious in My sight. Though you may feel that this is one of the lowest times you have ever been through, yet in My eyes it is a precious time. I feel you closer to My heart than ever before. As I hold you in My hands and behold the beauty of your tears and your prayers to Me, the beauty of your surrender and humility in coming before My feet and saying, “Nothing in my hands I bring, simply to Thy cross I cling”—as I behold this, I love you. I hold you close to My heart, and I comfort you. 
But you must let Me comfort you. You must have faith to reach out and receive from Me. It is nothing that can be earned or worked for. I wish to give it to you freely because of My love for you. 
You must make the decision to accept My peace and comfort. And though this time seems long, it is only a moment compared to eternity. You will be rewarded greatly for your faith.

Pequeños actos de consideración

Puedes tomar unos momentos para responder a una pregunta con consideración y franqueza, en vez de hacerlo ligero y aprisa, con lo que los demás se sienten subestimados o piensan que son un estorbo.
Mi amor se manifiesta de muchas formas: a base de perdón, de misericordia, de ternura, de amabilidad, de sencillez; con palabras de amor, de aliento y de elogio; con todo lo bueno y positivo que puedas decir de alguien; mediante pequeños actos de consideración; estimulando y recompensando a los demás; preocupándote por ellos; mostrándote atento; entregándote a ellos; dedicando tiempo a conversar, a escuchar y a compartir; ayudando a llevar la carga; rebajándote si hace falta para ayudar a una persona.

Wheels of progress

There are cycles in life—times in which everything seems to go well, and times when things seem to go badly. I want you to learn to hold on to Me through each phase of the cycle.
Problems cause you to exercise your faith as you rise up to meet them, and that brings the next phase of the cycle: You call on Me for help, and you fight and you win and you make progress. It's like a wheel as it turns: As the top goes down, the bottom comes around to the top and the wheel carries you forward.
Each time you face a new test, you must fight once again. You take up the challenge, call on Me for help, and once again overcome and make more progress. More tests bring more victories. But if at any time you don't seek Me for the solution and fight through to victory, you stop the cycle. You remain at the low point and there is no forward motion; you go nowhere.
So don't look at the low points in your life as defeats, but as opportunities to make forward progress. I know it's often difficult to go through these cycles, but you must in order to keep moving forward, so keep at it!

Pour te diriger dans le labyrinthe

Le monde devient de plus en plus compliqué et tu as besoin de Moi pour te diriger dans le labyrinthe de ces complications. Tu dois te tourner vers Moi pour savoir quoi faire. Je peux te montrer ce qui est invisible à l’œil nu. Je peux te révéler de nombreux éléments que tu ignores. Le monde s’émerveillera de ta sagesse, de ton savoir et de ta perception des réalités, si seulement tu Me cherches, si seulement tu M’écoutes.
Alors n’aie pas peur de demander. Avais-tu peur de poser des questions à tes parents lorsque tu étais
petit ? Non bien sûr, tu demandais tout simplement, et ils te répondaient. Il en est de même avec Moi.
Il te faut développer ta sensibilité par rapport à Moi et à Mon Esprit. Garde ton antenne spirituelle pointée vers le haut, toujours à l’écoute, car J’ai des multitudes de choses à te dire.

Simple, Sincere, Spontaneous

You appreciate it when people compliment you, don’t you? But compliments don’t seem to flow out of your mouth very easily, do they? You kind of get stuck when it comes to saying nice things to people. You either just don’t think about doing it, or if you do, you worry that it’s going to come out sounding corny or won’t be appreciated or maybe even misunderstood.
Think about the times when people have said something nice to you. How often have you felt that they were being corny? Or even if you did, didn’t it make you feel good to know that they noticed you and that they liked something about you? Other people will also feel good when you compliment them.
You don’t have to think up spectacular or poetic things to say. “Simple, sincere, and spontaneous,” is a good motto when it comes to giving compliments. If someone looks particularly good that day, tell her so. If you feel like telling your friend, or your dad or mom, or your brother or sister, how much you enjoy being around them, go ahead and do it-right then! Try it; you’ll like it! And so will they.

Breaking the bands of addiction

Having a loved one who is caught in the trap of substance abuse can be one of the most heartbreaking and trying experiences, not only because it's so harmful and dangerous, but also because it's an ongoing problem. It tears you apart to watch someone you love so dearly destroying himself. You've tried to talk sense into him, you've tried to give advice, you've tried to understand what brought this on, you've tried to be patient, and you've tried to be firm. Still, it seems that nothing has helped. That's because, as badly as you want to, you can't solve the problem. Ultimately that's up to him. If he's willing to change, I can break the bands of addiction and heal his body, mind, and spirit, but even I can't override his decisions.
I can, however, work in his heart and mind to help him start making better decisions that will lead to recovery, and this is where you come in. You can help Me work more effectively by praying for him. Until his will is pulling in the right direction, you have to do some of the pulling for him through prayer. Until he is ready to ask for My help himself, you have to ask for My help.
Prayer can work wonders in even the most "impossible" cases, so keep on praying. It may take time, but one day you will see the evidence of My hand at work and your prayers for your dear one being answered. Where there is life, there is hope!

Stay simple

I spoke great truths, profound words that changed lives and continue to do so. But I also spoke to the children. I was simple, I was clear, and I didn't lose My appreciation of little things. I stopped to enjoy the flowers. I cooked for My disciples.
It's when you can't find joy in the everyday things of life that you become complicated and lose the human touch. You exchange depth of character for a labyrinth of complex thinking, a heart that is sensitive to the things of the spirit for mere head knowledge.
Simplicity is a gift. Everyone starts out with it, but as some people grow up they discount this gift because they associate it with ignorance, naiveté, immaturity, and a lack of sophistication. They prefer to weave a web of complexity to cover it. But did I not say that unless you have childlike simplicity to believe in the "impossible" and the unseen—Me, the One who died for you and rose to life again so you could have the wonderful but simple gift of eternal life—you cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven? The gift of simplicity remains for those who have the humility and wisdom to value it and claim it as their own.
There is much to discover throughout life and even more in Heaven, but you will always find that the most profound truths, the greatest beauty, and the most outstanding wisdom are expressed simply.

Ever-present help

You can find comfort in knowing that good can come of anything and that I allow trials in your life not to make you miserable, but better. Still, at times it is hard to be so philosophical—all you want is some relief! You don't want to hear, "All this is for your good"—you just want to be free of the problem.
I know how you feel. When I was on the cross, the pain was so excruciating that I just wanted it to be over. I kept reminding Myself that I was enduring this so that you and a whole world full of sinners like you could be brought to salvation. I knew it was worth it, but it was a supreme struggle to keep such altruistic thoughts foremost in My mind. In My Father's time the suffering did cease and I was released into the spiritual realm where such agony could no longer touch Me, but what an ordeal that was!
At the time of My suffering, My Father could not intervene. I had to go through that for you. But now that I have, I am always there to help you through your times of pain and suffering. I let Myself be separated from divine help for that time so you could always have it available. So hold on. The victory, comfort, and surcease from suffering will come.

Make Lemonade

When something seems to be going wrong, instead of complaining or letting it get you on a bummer, try to find a personal solution for it. That doesn’t mean figuring out how to change things so that they always go your way. It means finding a way to be cheerful even if they don’t. Learn to make the best of any situation-“making lemonade out of the lemon.”
It makes Me especially happy when you have a positive reaction to something that didn’t turn out quite as you would have liked. I want you to be happy and I try to give you things and make the circumstances so that you’re happy with them. But that’s not always possible. So when something is tough for you, but you’re able to trust Me and smile through your disappointment anyway, it shows Me that you’re ready for one of My blessings, something that I probably wouldn’t have sent your way otherwise, because some blessings have to be earned-and they’re usually the ones that you want the most.

In the very moment that you seek My forgiveness, in the very instant that you call out to Me, I immediately grant My forgiveness, and there is no more need to worry or fear or carry the burden yourself.

Há uma hora para orar rapidamente e uma hora para ser mais demorado, e você precisa aprender a usar as duas coisas de acordo com a necessidade — mas ore! Dependa da oração. Viva de acordo com as suas orações. Não se canse de orar.

Scientists are always saying that they’ve discovered the key to this or that, and now have even figured out how to multiply human cells. But there’s still so much that can’t be explained.
Life is the most wonderful of My creations, and man will never be able to fully figure it out. They may be able to grow this or that in the lab, but they will never be able to breathe the breath of life into a human being, that breath that changes man from a mass of complex chemicals into a living soul!
My creation is a wonderful demonstration of My unending intellect. And what you see and experience all around you is only a small facet of My power and capabilities, for My creations are endless. There is no limit to what I am able to do!
The maze of the universe has enough marvels within it to thrill you for all eternity!

Prayer is powerful, and if you want My power, then you must pray. What is prayer? It's your link with the Divine. It's communication. It's tapping into the Source. It's faithfulness to the greatest duty of man. Prayer is rest, faith, complete trust.
Prayer brings down My peace upon you. Prayer gets action. It lifts you up. Prayer changes the course of history. Prayer heals. Prayer revives. Prayer restores. Prayer builds. Prayer is humility. Prayer is My love. Prayer moves My hand and spurs Me to action. Prayer gets results. Prayer is saving grace for mankind.
Most importantly, prayer makes us one. Prayer melts us together, so that you might partake of My powers.

A Bird’s-Eye View

I can give you spiritual wings that will carry you up above all the problems and help you to see them from the proper perspective.
The next time you’re in a big mess, or you’re feeling confused, or things just aren’t working out right, don’t let it frustrate you or drag you down. Flap your wings and take flight! Lose the Tape Measure

Do you pull out a mental tape measure and compare people with each other? Who’s taller? Who’s shorter? Fatter? Skinnier? Prettier? More handsome? Who’s faster? Who’s stronger? There are so many ways that people are different, and so many things that you could measure and compare.
Then you try to measure yourself by comparing yourself with others. “Are they smarter than me?” “Are they better looking than I am?” “Do people like them more than they like me?” Comparing isn’t a good idea. It can really be a bummer and make you pretty miserable about yourself and about the way I made you.
I think you’re great! There’s nothing I want to change about you. Sure you’ll change a little throughout your life, but I’m not looking at you thinking, “Oh, I should have made your hair a different color or your face a different shape.” Not at all!
I don’t want you to measure yourself against others either. I want you to learn to be happy with the way you are. When you stop comparing yourself to other people, you’ll have a chance to discover what’s cool and special about yourself.

When usual means fail…

When you've done all you can and exhausted your usual means of supply but still struggle to make ends meet, don't despair; I can provide by other means. When others fail in their financial responsibilities or you are adversely affected by their wrong or selfish decisions, don't despair; I remain true and will make up for their lacks. When disaster strikes and unforeseen bills follow, don't despair; I'll pick up where your insurance policy leaves off. When the economy is tight and jobs are scarce, don't despair; I am able to supply even in impossible circumstances.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). That is a promise I made long ago, and it still holds true. Tell Me your needs, ask Me to supply them. Do your part—the asking, seeking, and knocking—and I will do Mine.
When you find yourself in a financial bind and don't know how to get yourself out of it, let Me get you out of it. I can supply for My children by the most unexpected and unconventional means, and I delight in doing so because I love them. It also helps them appreciate Me more when I supply, and I like that part too.

You don't have to be perfect

A lot of people don't pray until they're in some sort of trouble, and then they find they don't have the kind of faith that gets results. Their faith is weak because it's been so long since they last exercised it, and they feel their relationship with Me is strained because they didn't place much importance on it before trouble struck. They feel hypocritical or undeserving, and don't know where to start in making things right.
It is much easier to pray full-of-faith prayers when you have a history of praying and receiving My answers, when you feel close to Me because you've opened your heart to Me day by day, and when you know you've done your best to please Me. But even if you don't meet those conditions, there's hope. You don't have to be perfect for Me to answer your prayers. I help all who call on Me in faith and humble desperation.
Simply turn to Me in your time of need, get your heart right by confessing your faults and receiving My forgiveness, believe that I can perform the miracle you need, and I will. Best of all, this can be the start of a whole new life with Me in which you experience more answers to prayers and a greater closeness to Me.

Je suis amoureux de toi, à tel point que J’ignore toutes tes fautes, tous tes échecs. Je suis aveuglé par l’amour — un amour qui, par-delà tes faiblesses et tes défauts, ne voit que le bien et les possibilités que les autres ne savent pas reconnaître.
Je ne tiens pas un gourdin à portée de main, pour te frapper au moindre faux-pas. Je n’attends pas non plus que tu trébuches ou que tu tombes pour qu’à coups de bâtons Je te fasse rentrer dans le rang. Comment le pourrais-Je ? Moi aussi, Je suis passé par là. Je me suis revêtu de chair humaine pour expérimenter, pour ressentir et comprendre tout ce qui fait ta vie. Je connais tes frustrations, tes désirs les plus profonds, les limites de ta chair humaine et même tes péchés secrets. Je ressens ton humanité et, à cause de cela, comme Je l’ai promis, Je te ferai miséricorde. Mes pensées envers toi sont des pensées de paix, de pardon, de longanimité et de compassion.

Ne Me parle pas de tes fautes. Sinon Je te répondrai : de quelles fautes au juste s’agit-il ? De quels défauts ? De quels manquements ? Ne ramène pas toujours le passé, car pour Moi, il n’y a pas de passé. Je suis incapable de dire si tu as des fautes ou des faiblesses, vu qu’en ce moment Je ne les vois pas. Quand Je te regarde, quand J’examine ton cœur, tes faiblesses n’existent plus devant Moi. Elles s’évanouissent à cause de Mon grand amour pour toi, lequel éclipse tout le reste. Alors n’essaie même pas de Me dire à quel point tu es mauvais, parce que ça ne marchera pas. Je t’aime trop pour ça.
Plus on pardonne à quelqu’un, plus il aura d’amour. Et plus il apprendra à tirer les leçons de ses fautes passées et à pardonner aux autres. Son regard accusateur se changera en regard d’amour et de miséricorde, car il se rappellera combien on lui a pardonné. Il aura reçu un nouveau souffle de vie, une nouvelle perspective, une nouvelle vision.
Un amour sans limites
J’aimerais t’apprendre à aimer davantage. J’aimerais t’ouvrir les yeux et te faire découvrir l’amour inconditionnel. Pour que tu puisses le vivre, le mettre en pratique et apprendre à aimer les autres de cet amour-là.
J’aimerais dès à présent que tu regardes chaque personne comme Je la regarde : avec un amour infini, incommensurable, un amour qui dépasse toute compréhension, un amour qui pardonne et qui comprend, un amour inconditionnel. Afin que tu apprennes à aimer comme tu es aimé.
Apprends à aimer les autres de Mon amour — cet amour qui t’a soutenu dans bien des situations difficiles, cet amour qui t’a donné la force d’aller de l’avant, de pardonner, cet amour qui t’a permis d’ouvrir ton cœur.

Cuando te sientas agobiada, pasa unos momentos a solas conmigo, aunque no sea más que un minuto. Ve a la ventana, toma una profunda bocanada de aire puro y pídeme que te ayude a ver las cosas objetivamente. Luego observa a tu pequeño. ¡Qué alegría te causa! ¡Qué privilegio poder decir que ese cascabel lleno de amor y energías es tuyo! Cuando te echa los brazos al cuello y te dice: «¡Te quiero, mami!», te das cuenta de que toda tu labor vale la pena. No cambiarías eso ni por todo el mundo, ¿verdad? Yo sabía que era así.
Cuando los chicos se meten en líos
Comprendo el quebranto de los padres cuyos hijos tropiezan, se descarrían, se juntan con malas compañías o toman otras decisiones erróneas. Entiendo la angustia que les provoca el querer ayudarlos y guiarlos y sentirse desairados. Lo entiendo porque a Mí me pasa lo mismo cuando veo a muchos de Mis hijos descarriarse y ocasionarse a sí mismos y a los demás dificultades y sufrimientos innecesarios.
He oído tus plegarias por tus hijos. Al igual que tú, Yo siempre los voy a querer y nunca los voy a abandonar. No dejes de orar por ellos. Confíamelos. Les hablaré al corazón en un tono en el que tú nunca podrías. Manifiéstales amor pero no trates de sobrellevar por tu cuenta la carga de sus contrariedades. Encomiéndamela a Mí. Déjame llevarla. Despreocúpate: Yo me encargaré de resolver sus problemas. Puede que de todos modos no terminen siendo lo que tú esperabas que fueran, pues mucho depende de lo que ellos decidan. I healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, lifted the spirits of those who were discouraged, and strengthened those who felt weak. And My love and power are the same today! I still long to touch and heal the bodies of those who suffer, and I still long to encourage the hearts of those who stoop under heavy burdens or go through difficult times. Since returning to Heaven I have touched many who lifted their hearts to Me and told Me their needs, and I want to do the same for you.
All it takes on your part is faith. You simply have to believe that I, the Great Physician, can still touch and make you whole. I am just a prayer away. Tell Me about your troubles, your fears, your worries, and ask Me to help and heal you. Sometimes healing the body takes a while—I know the best time—but the healing of your heart, the gifts of peace in place of turmoil and faith in place of fear, I can give in an instant. It is something that you can't understand with your mind, but when you ask in faith and it happens, you will know that I have touched you.

My Miracle-Working Power is Yours

I have promised miracles to those who love and follow Me, and I can deliver on that promise. My power is limitless. According to your need and the situation, I will do wondrous things for you and through you.
In order to see these manifestations of My power, only one thing is required of you: faith. You must believe that I am able to work the miracle and ask Me to do it, and then expect that I will. When you ask in faith, I am bound by My word to give you what you need. It might not always be what you think you need, but I will always rescue, protect, supply for you, or resolve the problem some other way, as I know is best. Sometimes it will be an overt miracle, where there is no doubt that I have answered your prayer, but other times it won't be so obvious.
I manifest My power most freely on behalf of those who follow Me closest, who do their best to live according to the principles of My Word and what they believe is My will for them personally, but anyone who calls on Me in faith will get the help they need, according to My will.
Remember this when the days darken and you find yourself in what seem like hopeless situations: Nothing is impossible for Me, so anything is possible for you when you ask in faith for Me to intervene. I always reward faith, My power is always at the ready, and I put Myself at your beck and call—all because I love you.

Think about this: How would you feel if you never received any communications from the person you loved? Wouldn't you feel left out? How would you feel if you never received a love letter from the one who was dearest to you, not even a quick note? Or how would you feel if you went about your entire day and your spouse hardly said one word to you?
When I don't receive any word from you, it breaks My heart. It makes Me wonder if you really care and if you need Me. Communicate and do not forget Me, for with such sacrifices I am well pleased. Prayer is communication.

Il y a des cycles dans la vie, des moments où apparemment les choses vont bien, d’autres où tout va mal. Dans chacune de ces phases, Je veux que tu apprennes à t’accrocher à Moi.
Les problèmes t’obligent à exercer ta foi car tu dois y faire face, ce qui t’amène à la phase suivante du cycle : tu M’appelles à l’aide, tu te bats, tu triomphes et tu fais des progrès. C’est comme une roue qui tourne : en même temps que le haut de la roue redescend, le bas remonte et la roue te fait avancer.
Chaque fois que tu affrontes une nouvelle épreuve, il te faut reprendre le combat. Tu relèves le défi, tu M’appelles à l’aide et, une fois de plus, tu triomphes et tu vas de l’avant. De nouvelles épreuves entraînent de nouvelles victoires. Mais si, à un moment quelconque, tu oublies de te tourner vers Moi pour obtenir la solution et trouver la force de te battre jusqu’à la victoire, le cycle est interrompu. Tu demeures en bas et il n’y a plus de mouvement en avant; tu ne vas nulle part.
Donc, au lieu de considérer les moments de crise comme des défaites, vois-les plutôt comme des occasions de progrès. Je sais qu’il est souvent difficile de passer par ces cycles, mais il le faut pour qu’il y ait progrès. Alors, tiens bon !

Don’t just exist from day to day, or try to do the minimum and just get by with doing as little as you possibly can. Put all you’ve got into whatever you’re doing-your studies, your friendships, and whatever other talents and interests you’re pursuing. If you put your heart into these things, they’ll be a lot more satisfying. Give it your best shot, and you’ll be amazed at what happens.

When gazing at yourself in the mirror, or at other times of self-inspection, you can tend to blow things out of proportion.
You feel others have it so much better in the way of looks, or qualities, or resilience, or personality, and on and on the list goes. But if you were to just step aside and let Me do the analyzing, and let Me teach you what you do need to change, then you’d feel much more relaxed. You could stop this self-effort of trying to make yourself a certain way, and being blown about with the ever-changing opinions and ideas of those in the world around you. Instead you could focus on what actually is needed, and the things you can and should improve in.
Gaze into My face instead of looking at your own reflection, and you’ll feel a lot better about yourself. I think you’re wonderful!

Muchos cristianos a lo largo de los siglos se han planteado lo mismo. En todos los casos Mi Espíritu estaba obrando en ellos. A menos que se volvieran débiles, Yo no podía hacerme fuerte en ellos. A menos que se quebrantaran, Yo no podía enseñarles a ser compasivos; no podía enseñarles la empatía, el sincero interés que les hacía falta tener por los demás. No podía concederles todos los hermosos dones de Mi Espíritu que traen aparejados los apuros y los quebrantos.
Por medio de esas aflicciones te estoy enseñando a luchar, no con tu propia fortaleza, sino con Mis fuerzas, valiéndote de la oración y acudiendo a Mí por cada cosa que se te presenta en la vida.

De nombreux chrétiens à travers les âges M’ont posé cette même question. Dans toutes leurs épreuves, c’était Mon Esprit qui opérait en eux; car il fallait qu’ils deviennent faibles pour que Ma force puisse se manifester en eux. Il fallait qu’ils soient brisés pour que Je puisse leur apprendre la compassion, leur donner l’empathie et la sollicitude nécessaire à l’égard des autres; pour que Je puisse leur accorder tous les merveilleux dons de Mon Esprit. Car seuls ceux qui ont connu de tels déchirements, de telles difficultés, sont à même de recevoir ces dons.
Par ces afflictions, Je t’apprends à lutter. Non pas de tes propres forces, mais avec Ma force, par le moyen de la prière et en gardant les yeux sur Moi en toute circonstance.

A gloomy face can be just as powerful in the opposite way. A long face not only causes you to be more dumpy and depressed yourself, but it brings others down as well.
Even if you don’t feel all good and happy, if you decide that you’re going to wear a smile no matter how you feel, I guarantee that you’ll begin to feel better almost immediately.

Il y a mille façons de prier. Parfois, tu t’épancheras devant Moi avec force pleurs et en Me recherchant de tout ton cœur. D’autres fois, tu viendras à Moi dans le calme et la tranquillité, dans l’humilité, M’implorant tout doucement, chuchotant tes requêtes à Mon oreille.
D’autres fois encore, tu prieras une prière silencieuse en pleine action. Ou, au contraire, tu t’arrêteras et, mettant de côté tous tes soucis, tu M’invoqueras dans une prière ardente. Toutes ces formes de prière sont importantes et elles ont leur place.
Ce n’est pas tant la position du corps qui compte mais l’attitude du cœur. Que ta prière soit longue quand la situation l’exige ; qu’elle soit courte lorsque tu es pressé ! Il y a un moment pour tout et tu dois apprendre à tirer parti de ces deux façons de prier, selon les circonstances. Mais, que tes prières soient longues ou qu’elles soient courtes, l’important est que tu pries ! Appuie-toi sur la prière. Vis tes prières. Ne te lasse pas de prier.

There are so many things that can and do go wrong in this life—so many broken dreams, so many visions that do not come to pass, so many things that just do not work out the way you so desperately wanted them to. Yet through all the broken dreams, your visions that do not come to pass, the things that don't work out as you had hoped they would, I am there with you. I hold in My hand greater dreams than you've ever dreamed of, more beautiful visions than you've ever seen, and greater things than you've ever hoped for. Your heart has not imagined the fantastic things I have in store for you who love Me, for you who stick it out through thick and thin.

The feelings and emotions you experience are a direct result of the choices you make, the thoughts you choose to think, the times you choose to be unselfish, the times you put yourself in another person's place and allow your heart to be broken and moved with compassion and love.
Feelings of love, unity and happiness are My rewards. They are given to you according to your choices and your decisions—how you have determined by your own free will to act and give and respond and sacrifice and understand.

As constant as the sun

The happiness of the spirit is far above the happiness of the flesh, for the happiness of the spirit is something you will always have with you. It is something that will never end. The loneliest nights or the darkest clouds can't take it away from you.
The happiness of the flesh is temporal and a fleeting feeling.—It comes and goes with your mood, with your surroundings, with the physical things that you see, touch and feel. But the happiness of the spirit comes from knowing that I am your Savior, and that I care.
The happiness that I give is as constant as the sun. When the sun sets at night and disappears beneath the horizon, do you worry that it has left forever? Do you say to another, "There is no more sun in our lives"? No, it is constant, always there. Though the night comes and you cannot see the sun, you never doubt its existence, nor that it will rise the next morning. So is the happiness of spirit—though ever-present, the night comes and you lose sight of it. That is the time to trust and rest until morning, until it comes into sight again.
