The marriage triangle

Marriage is the joining of hearts, that two may become one. It’s a wonderful thing with wonderful rewards for those who are willing to make the necessary sacrifices—and there are some sacrifices involved. To become one, each partner must be willing to give and change. The man must give of himself to become all that his wife needs him to be, and the woman must give of herself to become everything that her husband needs her to be. That’s the kind of self-sacrificial love that the strongest, happiest marriages are built on. Where do you get such love? Only from Me.
Picture your marriage as a triangle, with the two of you at the bottom two corners and Me at the top. As you both climb the sides of the triangle to come closer to Me, the source of love, you are also drawn closer together. The way to greater love and greater closeness with each other is to climb closer to Me.
The closer you both come to Me, the more love you will have to share with others. And the more love you share, the closer others will be drawn to both you and Me. It will start with those nearest and dearest to you—your children and other family members—and grow from there. As I said, marriage is a wonderful thing with wonderful rewards—so wonderful, in fact, that the sacrifices cease to be sacrifices.

Te comprendo cabalmente

Estoy tan enamorado de ti que Mi vista no capta ninguno de tus fallos e imperfecciones. El amor me ciega y me hace ver más allá de tus faltas y equivocaciones. Es un amor que solo ve lo bueno y las posibilidades que los demás no alcanzan a distinguir.
No te vigilo garrote en mano listo para atizarte al más mínimo error. No estoy a la espera de que tropieces y caigas para meterte otra vez en vereda de un estacazo. ¿Cómo iba a hacer eso? L’effet de la prière

Prier n’est pas le moins que l’on puisse faire, c’est le plus que l’on puisse faire. Réfléchis un instant : si prier est le plus que l’on puisse faire, pourquoi ne pries-tu pas davantage ?
La prière est puissante, et si tu désires Ma puissance, tu dois prier. Qu’est-ce que la prière ? C’est ton lien avec le divin. C’est communiquer. C’est se brancher sur la Source. C’est l’accomplissement du plus grand devoir de l’homme. La prière est sérénité, foi, confiance absolue.
La prière fait descendre sur toi Ma paix. La prière engendre l’action. Elle t’élève. La prière change le cours de l’histoire. La prière guérit. Elle fait revivre. Elle restaure. Elle construit. La prière est humilité. La prière, c’est Mon amour. La prière Me touche et Me pousse à agir. La prière obtient des résultats. La prière est le salut de l’humanité.
Mais, par-dessus tout, la prière nous unit, toi et Moi. La prière nous fait devenir un pour que tu puisses te revêtir de Mes pouvoirs.

Invest in the best

Some of you kindhearted souls are quick to jump in and help whenever you see someone in need. Being caring and compassionate are wonderful qualities, but it’s also important to be realistic. Don’t overextend yourself to the neglect of your primary responsibilities or to the point of feeling overwhelmed and giving up. You can avoid this pitfall by being careful and prayerful about what you commit to do for others.
Your time and resources are limited, so you need to invest them wisely. When you see a needy situation that could turn out to be a costly or long-term project, consult with Me and get My perspective before you commit yourself to helping. You need My help to see things in the proper perspective, because if you don’t, you won’t be as effective as you could be. You might get deeply immersed in one project, only to find that there is a needier situation just around the corner. Or if you try to “run on empty,” you won’t get far or be much help to anyone.
Keep in mind, too, that sometimes when someone is struggling, while there may be something you could do to help, I might know that it’s actually better for the person to work through the problem with only Me to lean on. Or I may know that someone else is in a better position to help that person than you. This is sometimes hard to accept, but in some situations the best thing to do is to step back—to pray for the one who is struggling but not to get involved beyond that.
Recognizing a need is only an indication of what I might want you to do. Check with Me before getting involved, because I may have a better plan.

Love’s reward

If you feel you’re imposing on loved ones and friends by asking for their help when you’re sick, you need to try to see the situation as I do. Yes, it’s usually a sacrifice and means extra work for them, but the potential blessings far outweigh the burdens.
When others come to your aid, it brings out the best in them. It gives them a chance to be self-sacrificial, tender, compassionate, patient, and cheerful, and that puts them in line to receive the spiritual blessings that follow as surely as day follows night.
This is all part of My wonderful plan, the plan of upgrading all of your spirits by giving you special opportunities to give and receive love. Both bring you closer to Me, because I am love. Whenever there is a love exchange, My presence becomes more palpable, and that puts everything else into perspective.
And just as the extra time you spend praying, communing with Me, and tanking up on My Word strengthens your faith and deepens your connection with Me, the time they spend praying and claiming My promises for you will strengthen their faith and relationship with Me. It also strengthens the bond of love between you.
When the days are weary and the nights long, I will be as close to them as I am to you. Moment by moment and task by task, I will be there to lighten their load, lift their spirits above the circumstances, fill their hearts with perfect peace, and give them the strength and grace to keep being My blessing to you.

Help in Trying Times

I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears, and they are precious in My sight. Though you may feel that this is one of the lowest times you have ever been through, yet in My eyes it is a precious time. I feel you closer to My heart than ever before. As I hold you in My hands and behold the beauty of your tears and your prayers to Me, the beauty of your surrender and humility in coming before My feet and saying, “Nothing in my hands I bring, simply to Thy cross I cling”—as I behold this, I love you. I hold you close to My heart, and I comfort you.

But you must let Me comfort you. You must have faith to reach out and receive from Me. It is nothing that can be earned or worked for. I wish to give it to you freely because of My love for you.

You must make the decision to accept My peace and comfort. And though this time seems long, it is only a moment compared to eternity. You will be rewarded greatly for your faith.

Pequeños actos de consideración

Hay muchas formas de manifestar Mi amor. Por ejemplo, puedes dar un saludo caluroso en vez de una mirada indiferente. Puedes tomar unos momentos para responder a una pregunta con consideración y franqueza, en vez de hacerlo ligero y aprisa, con lo que los demás se sienten subestimados o piensan que son un estorbo.
Mi amor se manifiesta de muchas formas: a base de perdón, de misericordia, de ternura, de amabilidad, de sencillez; con palabras de amor, de aliento y de elogio; con todo lo bueno y positivo que puedas decir de alguien; mediante pequeños actos de consideración; estimulando y recompensando a los demás; preocupándote por ellos; mostrándote atento; entregándote a ellos; dedicando tiempo a conversar, a escuchar y a compartir; ayudando a llevar la carga; rebajándote si hace falta para ayudar a una persona.

Wheels of progress

There are cycles in life—times in which everything seems to go well, and times when things seem to go badly. I want you to learn to hold on to Me through each phase of the cycle.
Problems cause you to exercise your faith as you rise up to meet them, and that brings the next phase of the cycle: You call on Me for help, and you fight and you win and you make progress. It's like a wheel as it turns: As the top goes down, the bottom comes around to the top and the wheel carries you forward.
Each time you face a new test, you must fight once again. You take up the challenge, call on Me for help, and once again overcome and make more progress. More tests bring more victories. But if at any time you don't seek Me for the solution and fight through to victory, you stop the cycle. You remain at the low point and there is no forward motion; you go nowhere.
So don't look at the low points in your life as defeats, but as opportunities to make forward progress. I know it's often difficult to go through these cycles, but you must in order to keep moving forward, so keep at it!

Pour te diriger dans le labyrinthe

Le monde devient de plus en plus compliqué et tu as besoin de Moi pour te diriger dans le labyrinthe de ces complications. Tu dois te tourner vers Moi pour savoir quoi faire. Je peux te montrer ce qui est invisible à l’œil nu. Je peux te révéler de nombreux éléments que tu ignores. Le monde s’émerveillera de ta sagesse, de ton savoir et de ta perception des réalités, si seulement tu Me cherches, si seulement tu M’écoutes.
Alors n’aie pas peur de demander. Avais-tu peur de poser des questions à tes parents lorsque tu étais
petit ? Non bien sûr, tu demandais tout simplement, et ils te répondaient. Il en est de même avec Moi.
Il te faut développer ta sensibilité par rapport à Moi et à Mon Esprit. Garde ton antenne spirituelle pointée vers le haut, toujours à l’écoute, car J’ai des multitudes de choses à te dire.

Simple, Sincere, Spontaneous

You appreciate it when people compliment you, don’t you? But compliments don’t seem to flow out of your mouth very easily, do they? You kind of get stuck when it comes to saying nice things to people. You either just don’t think about doing it, or if you do, you worry that it’s going to come out sounding corny or won’t be appreciated or maybe even misunderstood.
Think about the times when people have said something nice to you. How often have you felt that they were being corny? Or even if you did, didn’t it make you feel good to know that they noticed you and that they liked something about you? Other people will also feel good when you compliment them.
You don’t have to think up spectacular or poetic things to say. “Simple, sincere, and spontaneous,” is a good motto when it comes to giving compliments. If someone looks particularly good that day, tell her so. If you feel like telling your friend, or your dad or mom, or your brother or sister, how much you enjoy being around them, go ahead and do it-right then! Try it; you’ll like it! And so will they.

Breaking the bands of addiction

Having a loved one who is caught in the trap of substance abuse can be one of the most heartbreaking and trying experiences, not only because it's so harmful and dangerous, but also because it's an ongoing problem. It tears you apart to watch someone you love so dearly destroying himself. You've tried to talk sense into him, you've tried to give advice, you've tried to understand what brought this on, you've tried to be patient, and you've tried to be firm. Still, it seems that nothing has helped. That's because, as badly as you want to, you can't solve the problem. Ultimately that's up to him. If he's willing to change, I can break the bands of addiction and heal his body, mind, and spirit, but even I can't override his decisions.
I can, however, work in his heart and mind to help him start making better decisions that will lead to recovery, and this is where you come in. You can help Me work more effectively by praying for him. Until his will is pulling in the right direction, you have to do some of the pulling for him through prayer. Until he is ready to ask for My help himself, you have to ask for My help.
Prayer can work wonders in even the most "impossible" cases, so keep on praying. It may take time, but one day you will see the evidence of My hand at work and your prayers for your dear one being answered. Where there is life, there is hope!

Stay simple

I spoke great truths, profound words that changed lives and continue to do so. But I also spoke to the children. I was simple, I was clear, and I didn't lose My appreciation of little things. I stopped to enjoy the flowers. I cooked for My disciples.
It's when you can't find joy in the everyday things of life that you become complicated and lose the human touch. You exchange depth of character for a labyrinth of complex thinking, a heart that is sensitive to the things of the spirit for mere head knowledge.
Simplicity is a gift. Everyone starts out with it, but as some people grow up they discount this gift because they associate it with ignorance, naiveté, immaturity, and a lack of sophistication. They prefer to weave a web of complexity to cover it. But did I not say that unless you have childlike simplicity to believe in the "impossible" and the unseen—Me, the One who died for you and rose to life again so you could have the wonderful but simple gift of eternal life—you cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven? The gift of simplicity remains for those who have the humility and wisdom to value it and claim it as their own.
There is much to discover throughout life and even more in Heaven, but you will always find that the most profound truths, the greatest beauty, and the most outstanding wisdom are expressed simply.

Ever-present help

You can find comfort in knowing that good can come of anything and that I allow trials in your life not to make you miserable, but better. Still, at times it is hard to be so philosophical—all you want is some relief! You don't want to hear, "All this is for your good"—you just want to be free of the problem.
I know how you feel. When I was on the cross, the pain was so excruciating that I just wanted it to be over. I kept reminding Myself that I was enduring this so that you and a whole world full of sinners like you could be brought to salvation. I knew it was worth it, but it was a supreme struggle to keep such altruistic thoughts foremost in My mind. In My Father's time the suffering did cease and I was released into the spiritual realm where such agony could no longer touch Me, but what an ordeal that was!
At the time of My suffering, My Father could not intervene. I had to go through that for you. But now that I have, I am always there to help you through your times of pain and suffering. I let Myself be separated from divine help for that time so you could always have it available. So hold on. The victory, comfort, and surcease from suffering will come.

Make Lemonade

When something seems to be going wrong, instead of complaining or letting it get you on a bummer, try to find a personal solution for it. That doesn’t mean figuring out how to change things so that they always go your way. It means finding a way to be cheerful even if they don’t. Learn to make the best of any situation-“making lemonade out of the lemon.”
It makes Me especially happy when you have a positive reaction to something that didn’t turn out quite as you would have liked. I want you to be happy and I try to give you things and make the circumstances so that you’re happy with them. But that’s not always possible. So when something is tough for you, but you’re able to trust Me and smile through your disappointment anyway, it shows Me that you’re ready for one of My blessings, something that I probably wouldn’t have sent your way otherwise, because some blessings have to be earned-and they’re usually the ones that you want the most.

I am love

In times of darkness, I will be your light. In times of sadness, I will be your joy. In times of struggle, I will be your deliverance. In times of weakness, I will be your strength. In times of question, I will be your answer. In times of doubt, I will be faith unto you.—And more important than any of this, I am love to you. I love you and I forgive you.
So do not be discouraged or disheartened. Do not look back. Do not be remorseful over the mistakes and sins of the past, for the past is the past. I have covered those mistakes and sins, and that which was scarlet shall be made white as snow. As far as the east is from the west, so far have I removed your sins from you.
In the very moment that you seek My forgiveness, in the very instant that you call out to Me, I immediately grant My forgiveness, and there is no more need to worry or fear or carry the burden yourself.

Um tempo para cada coisa

Há muitas maneiras de orar. Há momentos para derramar o coração em prantos, buscando-Me em orações fervorosas. Há outros para sentar-se tranqüila e serenamente, buscando-Me em humildade, fazendo suas petições com calma, sussurrando aos Meus ouvidos os seus pedidos e me dizendo o que precisa.
Há momentos quando se ora fazendo outras coisas, fazendo em seu coração pedidos silenciosos, e há horas em que se deve parar, deixar tudo de lado e Me buscar com forte clamor. Tudo isto é importante e tem a sua hora e o seu propósito.
Não é a posição do corpo que conta, mas sim a posição do coração. Demore em oração quando necessário; seja rápido quando o tempo for pouco. Há uma hora para orar rapidamente e uma hora para ser mais demorado, e você precisa aprender a usar as duas coisas de acordo com a necessidade — mas ore! Dependa da oração. Viva de acordo com as suas orações. Não se canse de orar.

Voici, Je suis le Bon Berger. J’ai donné Ma vie pour sauver ceux qui sont perdus. J’ai offert Mon corps pour guérir ceux qui sont meurtris. Mes bras sont tendus vers vous, et Je tiens dans Mes mains des dons précieux, pour vous qui êtes brisés, pour vous qui souffrez et qui pleurez. Ce sont des dons d’amour, de pardon, de miséricorde et de guérison. Tous ces dons, Je ne demande qu’à vous les donner, si seulement vous tendez vos mains pour les recevoir par la foi.
Des dons aussi précieux ne peuvent se mériter. Vous ne serez jamais assez bons pour les recevoir. Mais Je vous les donnerai gratuitement si seulement vous tendez vos mains par la foi pour recevoir Mon amour, Ma miséricorde, Mon pardon et Ma guérison.

I understand everything

I am so in love with you that I overlook all your faults and failures. I am blind with love—love that sees beyond your shortcomings and mistakes, love that only sees the good and the possibilities that others do not recognize.
I do not have a great big stick standing by, ready to wallop you at your slightest failing. I do not stand ready and waiting for you to trip and fall that I may whack you back in line. How could I? For I, too, walked in your shoes. I, too, took on the cloak of human flesh that I might know and feel and understand everything about you. I know the frustrations you feel, your every longing, the incapability of your human flesh, and even your secret sins. I feel your humanness, and because of this, I have promised that I will have mercy upon you. My thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace, forgiveness, long-suffering and compassion.

A strong marriage

If your marriage is going to be strong, it must be strong in the spirit. If it's going to be strong in the spirit, then I must be the center. Your focus, your unity, your love, all must be centered around Me. Then you'll have what you need to make it over the human weaknesses and mistakes and misunderstandings. But when you go for a long period of time without having good prayer and communication, without humbling yourselves and uniting around My Word, it's very easy to become set in your ways, proud, unyielding and intolerant. You lose the compassion. You lose the tenderness. You lose the sweetness.

Soluciones para Tus problemas

Cuando te sientas débil, Yo seré fuerte por Ti. Cuando te agobie la confusión, te imbuiré de paz. Cuando te invada el temor, confortaré tu corazón. Cuando te asalten dudas, te daré fe. Cuando se apodere de ti la angustia, te comunicaré alegría. Cuando te falte confianza, Yo seré tu tranquilidad. Cuando lo veas todo confuso y turbio, Yo te daré claridad. Cuando todo te parezca lúgubre y tormentoso, seré para ti luz esplendorosa.

Déjalo pasar

Hay dos vías: la de la resistencia y la de la sumisión. La de la sumisión es la vía fácil. Como cuando dos cabras coinciden frente a frente en un angosto sendero de montaña, y en lugar de embestirse, una se echa para dejar que la otra le pase por encima. Así quiero que hagas tú. De lo contrario no hay sino enfrentamiento y choque de cabezas. Es mucho más fácil echarse y dejar que la otra persona pase por encima. Te digo y te repito que lo dejes pasar.
Procura ser humilde. Esfuérzate por obrar con amor. Pon empeño en adquirir bondad y comprensión. Esas virtudes son joyas de gran valor que puedes lucir y que harán resaltar en ti la verdadera belleza de Dios. Busca la sencillez, el amor. Busca ser gentil. Sé que tienes esas cualidades, pues conozco bien tu corazón. Sé que en las fuentes de tu corazón está presente el deseo de ser humilde, de obrar con amor, ternura, bondad, paciencia y comprensión. Mas para que en tu corazón afloren todas esas virtudes es preciso que te despojes del orgullo y del egoísmo.

As gold in the furnace

You may not understand some things today because it is not My time to fully reveal to you My complete plan and purpose. Believe and trust, even though you do not understand. My ways are not your ways, and you can never know the mind of God by trying to understand and analyze with your own mind. I will reveal My thoughts and My ways by the power of My Spirit to those who will receive My voice with faith, love and appreciation.
I promise that if you will hold on by faith—not even knowing if you have the strength to hold on—you will not fail. Just as gold is purified in the refiner's furnace, those who pass through the hot flames of testing are those who come out as finer gold. I test you that all the dross and impurities may be melted away. So do not fear the testing, for I purify you out of love, and I cleanse you in answer to your prayers.

Mind-Benders to Infinity

Do you enjoy a good puzzle? Do you love a riddle or a maze? Look around you at the greatest mind-bender ever designed-this world and all its intricacies.
The simplest forms of life and the simplest natural cycles of living cells have taken thousands of years for man to discover and understand. Scientists are always saying that they’ve discovered the key to this or that, and now have even figured out how to multiply human cells. But there’s still so much that can’t be explained.
Life is the most wonderful of My creations, and man will never be able to fully figure it out. They may be able to grow this or that in the lab, but they will never be able to breathe the breath of life into a human being, that breath that changes man from a mass of complex chemicals into a living soul!
My creation is a wonderful demonstration of My unending intellect. And what you see and experience all around you is only a small facet of My power and capabilities, for My creations are endless. There is no limit to what I am able to do!
The maze of the universe has enough marvels within it to thrill you for all eternity!

Constante como o Sol

A felicidade de espírito está bem acima da felicidade da carne, pois a felicidade de espírito é algo que você sempre terá. É infinita e nem mesmo as noites mais solitárias ou as nuvens mais escuras podem lhe tirar isso.

Não, ele é constante, está sempre ali. Apesar da noite vir e você não conseguir enxergá-lo, nunca duvida de sua existência nem de que ele surgirá novamente. É o mesmo com a felicidade de espírito; apesar de estar sempre presente, a noite vem e você a perde de vista por um pouco. Essa é a hora de confiar e descansar até à manhã seguinte, até vê-la novamente.

Millions of Questions

Sometimes you feel like you and your life are one big question mark. You have questions about everything.What is life for, anyway? Why live? Why love? Why learn? Why strive for anything? Why, why, why?
Well, I can match every question mark that exists with either a period or an exclamation point. I have reasons and answers for everything.
I don’t immediately put an end to all your question marks. It takes time. It’s good for you not to know the answers to everything right now. It’s part of life. It teaches you patience and faith.
I answer some questions right away, and others I don’t answer just yet. But I promise you, I’m saving up your questions, and one day we’re going to sit down together and have a good, long chat. I’m going to pull out every one of your question marks from the past and I’m going to match each of them up with one of My periods or exclamation points-the perfect answer for each question. The because for every single why.

What prayer does

Prayer is not the least you can do, but the very most that you can do. Think about it. If it's the most you can do, then why don't you pray more?
Prayer is powerful, and if you want My power, then you must pray. What is prayer? It's your link with the Divine. It's communication. It's tapping into the Source. It's faithfulness to the greatest duty of man. Prayer is rest, faith, complete trust.
Prayer brings down My peace upon you. Prayer gets action. It lifts you up. Prayer changes the course of history. Prayer heals. Prayer revives. Prayer restores. Prayer builds. Prayer is humility. Prayer is My love. Prayer moves My hand and spurs Me to action. Prayer gets results. Prayer is saving grace for mankind.
Most importantly, prayer makes us one. Prayer melts us together, so that you might partake of My powers.

A Bird’s-Eye View

When you feel like you’re in a muddle, don’t you sometimes wish that you could just grow wings and fly away like a bird? You can, you know. On the wings of prayer, you can soar way up high, above all the mess, the problems and the confusion.
You can’t necessarily escape your problems, but you can rise above them and see things from a different point of view.-A bird’s-eye view, just like when you’re in an airplane, and everything down on the ground seems so small-almost insignificant. I can give you spiritual wings that will carry you up above all the problems and help you to see them from the proper perspective.

Take some time to get quiet and pray, and you’ll rise above it all. Come up here with Me, way up above the trouble and the turbulence, where everything is beautiful and quiet and peaceful.

Lose the Tape Measure

Do you pull out a mental tape measure and compare people with each other? Who’s taller? Who’s shorter? Fatter? Skinnier? Prettier? More handsome? Who’s faster? Who’s stronger? There are so many ways that people are different, and so many things that you could measure and compare.
Then you try to measure yourself by comparing yourself with others. “Are they smarter than me?” “Are they better looking than I am?” “Do people like them more than they like me?” Comparing isn’t a good idea. It can really be a bummer and make you pretty miserable about yourself and about the way I made you.
I think you’re great! There’s nothing I want to change about you. Sure you’ll change a little throughout your life, but I’m not looking at you thinking, “Oh, I should have made your hair a different color or your face a different shape.” Not at all!
I don’t want you to measure yourself against others either. I want you to learn to be happy with the way you are. When you stop comparing yourself to other people, you’ll have a chance to discover what’s cool and special about yourself.

When usual means fail…

When you've done all you can and exhausted your usual means of supply but still struggle to make ends meet, don't despair; I can provide by other means. When others fail in their financial responsibilities or you are adversely affected by their wrong or selfish decisions, don't despair; I remain true and will make up for their lacks. When disaster strikes and unforeseen bills follow, don't despair; I'll pick up where your insurance policy leaves off. When the economy is tight and jobs are scarce, don't despair; I am able to supply even in impossible circumstances.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). That is a promise I made long ago, and it still holds true. Tell Me your needs, ask Me to supply them. Do your part—the asking, seeking, and knocking—and I will do Mine.
When you find yourself in a financial bind and don't know how to get yourself out of it, let Me get you out of it. I can supply for My children by the most unexpected and unconventional means, and I delight in doing so because I love them. It also helps them appreciate Me more when I supply, and I like that part too.

You don't have to be perfect

A lot of people don't pray until they're in some sort of trouble, and then they find they don't have the kind of faith that gets results. Their faith is weak because it's been so long since they last exercised it, and they feel their relationship with Me is strained because they didn't place much importance on it before trouble struck. They feel hypocritical or undeserving, and don't know where to start in making things right.
It is much easier to pray full-of-faith prayers when you have a history of praying and receiving My answers, when you feel close to Me because you've opened your heart to Me day by day, and when you know you've done your best to please Me. But even if you don't meet those conditions, there's hope. You don't have to be perfect for Me to answer your prayers. I help all who call on Me in faith and humble desperation.
Simply turn to Me in your time of need, get your heart right by confessing your faults and receiving My forgiveness, believe that I can perform the miracle you need, and I will. Best of all, this can be the start of a whole new life with Me in which you experience more answers to prayers and a greater closeness to Me.

Connect with Me

No matter what your circumstances or how you have handled them up till now, no matter what you have done or not done, I love you. I see your every tear. I hear your every cry for help. I feel your every heartache, your every sorrow, your every frustration, your every worry. I know your every desire. I see straight through to your heart of hearts and all that is in it, and I love you more deeply than you can possibly comprehend.
I see your struggles and I want to help. Life is often a struggle, but it is made so much easier when you spiritually connect with Me. I have all the love and comfort and peace and solutions you seek. I am right here at your side, waiting patiently for you to reach out to Me so I can relieve your troubled mind, dry your tears, and show you how much I love you.

I understand everything

I am so in love with you that I overlook all your faults and failures. I am blind with love—love that sees beyond your shortcomings and mistakes, love that only sees the good and the possibilities that others do not recognize.
I do not have a great big stick standing by, ready to wallop you at your slightest failing. I do not stand ready and waiting for you to trip and fall that I may whack you back in line. How could I? For I, too, walked in your shoes. I, too, took on the cloak of human flesh that I might know and feel and understand everything about you. I know the frustrations you feel, your every longing, the incapability of your human flesh, and even your secret sins. I feel your humanness, and because of this, I have promised that I will have mercy upon you. My thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace, forgiveness, long-suffering and compassion.

Greater than the ocean

My eye has been upon you since before you were formed in the womb. I have been with you every step of the way. I have watched you. I have loved you. I have cared for you. You have never been out of My sight.
How I long to pour My love upon you! How I long to draw you to My bosom! If you will take time with Me in prayer, and listen to My voice in your heart and through My Word, I will show you My great, great love for you—love which is greater than the ocean, which stretches further than the horizon, which the whole universe with all its stars and galaxies cannot contain, which reaches out of understanding into infinity and eternity.

Je suis amoureux de toi, à tel point que J’ignore toutes tes fautes, tous tes échecs. Je suis aveuglé par l’amour — un amour qui, par-delà tes faiblesses et tes défauts, ne voit que le bien et les possibilités que les autres ne savent pas reconnaître.
Je ne tiens pas un gourdin à portée de main, pour te frapper au moindre faux-pas. Je n’attends pas non plus que tu trébuches ou que tu tombes pour qu’à coups de bâtons Je te fasse rentrer dans le rang. Comment le pourrais-Je ? Moi aussi, Je suis passé par là. Je me suis revêtu de chair humaine pour expérimenter, pour ressentir et comprendre tout ce qui fait ta vie. Je connais tes frustrations, tes désirs les plus profonds, les limites de ta chair humaine et même tes péchés secrets. Je ressens ton humanité et, à cause de cela, comme Je l’ai promis, Je te ferai miséricorde. Mes pensées envers toi sont des pensées de paix, de pardon, de longanimité et de compassion.

De quelles fautes au juste s’agit-il ?

Ne Me parle pas de tes fautes. Sinon Je te répondrai : de quelles fautes au juste s’agit-il ? De quels défauts ? De quels manquements ? Ne ramène pas toujours le passé, car pour Moi, il n’y a pas de passé. Je suis incapable de dire si tu as des fautes ou des faiblesses, vu qu’en ce moment Je ne les vois pas. Quand Je te regarde, quand J’examine ton cœur, tes faiblesses n’existent plus devant Moi. Elles s’évanouissent à cause de Mon grand amour pour toi, lequel éclipse tout le reste. Alors n’essaie même pas de Me dire à quel point tu es mauvais, parce que ça ne marchera pas. Je t’aime trop pour ça.
Plus on pardonne à quelqu’un, plus il aura d’amour. Et plus il apprendra à tirer les leçons de ses fautes passées et à pardonner aux autres. Son regard accusateur se changera en regard d’amour et de miséricorde, car il se rappellera combien on lui a pardonné. Il aura reçu un nouveau souffle de vie, une nouvelle perspective, une nouvelle vision.
Un amour sans limites
J’aimerais t’apprendre à aimer davantage. J’aimerais t’ouvrir les yeux et te faire découvrir l’amour inconditionnel. Pour que tu puisses le vivre, le mettre en pratique et apprendre à aimer les autres de cet amour-là.
J’aimerais dès à présent que tu regardes chaque personne comme Je la regarde : avec un amour infini, incommensurable, un amour qui dépasse toute compréhension, un amour qui pardonne et qui comprend, un amour inconditionnel. Afin que tu apprennes à aimer comme tu es aimé.
Apprends à aimer les autres de Mon amour — cet amour qui t’a soutenu dans bien des situations difficiles, cet amour qui t’a donné la force d’aller de l’avant, de pardonner, cet amour qui t’a permis d’ouvrir ton cœur.

Quieres entrañablemente a tu pequeño, pero a veces te preguntas: «¿Qué fue de mis sueños y de la carrera que tenía pensado seguir? ¿Qué fue de mi vida? Lo entiendo porque a Mí me pasa lo mismo cuando veo a muchos de Mis hijos descarriarse y ocasionarse a sí mismos y a los demás dificultades y sufrimientos innecesarios.
He oído tus plegarias por tus hijos. Al igual que tú, Yo siempre los voy a querer y nunca los voy a abandonar. No dejes de orar por ellos. Confíamelos. Les hablaré al corazón en un tono en el que tú nunca podrías. Manifiéstales amor pero no trates de sobrellevar por tu cuenta la carga de sus contrariedades. Encomiéndamela a Mí. Déjame llevarla. Despreocúpate: Yo me encargaré de resolver sus problemas. Puede que de todos modos no terminen siendo lo que tú esperabas que fueran, pues mucho depende de lo que ellos decidan. My Love for You is Complete

Have you ever thought about the word "love" and all it encompasses? There are many different kinds of love—many facets of love.
There is the unconditional love that a mother feels for her children, and the love and respect that children feel for their parents.
There is the kinship love that brothers and sisters feel for each other, or the friendship love that you feel for your best friend.
There is the love and appreciation that a student or athlete feels for his teacher or coach who helps him to become a better person or player.
There is a love that a man feels for a woman, which makes him want to marry her and live with her day in and day out and protect and provide for her. And there is the love that a woman has for a man, which makes her want to bear his children and love and care for their family.
My love for you is all this and more. My love for you is complete, for I am love. I give each person a measure of My love, but My love is immeasurable and limitless. I love you with a perfect and everlasting love that will never be taken away.

Let Me Touch You

When I walked the earth many, many years ago, I went about doing good to all who crossed My path. I healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, lifted the spirits of those who were discouraged, and strengthened those who felt weak. And My love and power are the same today! I still long to touch and heal the bodies of those who suffer, and I still long to encourage the hearts of those who stoop under heavy burdens or go through difficult times. Since returning to Heaven I have touched many who lifted their hearts to Me and told Me their needs, and I want to do the same for you.
All it takes on your part is faith. You simply have to believe that I, the Great Physician, can still touch and make you whole. I am just a prayer away. Tell Me about your troubles, your fears, your worries, and ask Me to help and heal you. Sometimes healing the body takes a while—I know the best time—but the healing of your heart, the gifts of peace in place of turmoil and faith in place of fear, I can give in an instant. It is something that you can't understand with your mind, but when you ask in faith and it happens, you will know that I have touched you.

My Miracle-Working Power is Yours

I have promised miracles to those who love and follow Me, and I can deliver on that promise. My power is limit­less. According to your need and the situation, I will do wondrous things for you and through you.
In order to see these manifestations of My power, only one thing is required of you: faith. You must believe that I am able to work the miracle and ask Me to do it, and then expect that I will. When you ask in faith, I am bound by My word to give you what you need. It might not always be what you think you need, but I will always rescue, protect, supply for you, or resolve the problem some other way, as I know is best. Sometimes it will be an overt miracle, where there is no doubt that I have answered your prayer, but other times it won't be so obvious.
I manifest My power most freely on behalf of those who follow Me closest, who do their best to live according to the principles of My Word and what they believe is My will for them personally, but anyone who calls on Me in faith will get the help they need, according to My will.
Remember this when the days darken and you find yourself in what seem like hopeless situations: Nothing is impossible for Me, so anything is possible for you when you ask in faith for Me to intervene. I always reward faith, My power is always at the ready, and I put Myself at your beck and call—all because I love you.

Prayer is communication

Think about this: How would you feel if you never received any communications from the person you loved? Wouldn't you feel left out? How would you feel if you never received a love letter from the one who was dearest to you, not even a quick note? Or how would you feel if you went about your entire day and your spouse hardly said one word to you?
When I don't receive any word from you, it breaks My heart. It makes Me wonder if you really care and if you need Me. Communicate and do not forget Me, for with such sacrifices I am well pleased. Prayer is communication.

El premio del amor

El amor y los desvelos que prodigaste a tus hijos y las plegarias que rezaste por ellos no quedarán sin gratificación. Cada pañal que cambiaste, cada vez que los aseaste, cada enseñanza que les impartiste, cada error que les perdonaste, cada lágrima que derramaste, cada palabra de ánimo que les dijiste, cada beso, cada abrazo, cada sacrificio, cada oración, todo eso contribuye a hacer de ellos unas criaturas de las que te enorgulleces.
Aunque puede que no siempre lo expresen ni lo den a entender por medio de sus actos, están orgullosos de tener una madre como tú. No logran entender cómo puedes seguir amándolos cuando les parece que menos lo merecen. Así y todo, lo desean, lo aprecian y saben que lo necesitan. Te agradezco que, al dar ejemplo de Mi amor incondicional, los hagas sentirse así de amados.
Estoy orgulloso de ti por el amor que manifiestas y los sacrificios que haces para educar y formar a tus hijos y cuidarlos como es debido. Bien, buena madre y fiel. Grande es tu galardón en los Cielos.

Les roues du progrès

Il y a des cycles dans la vie, des moments où apparemment les choses vont bien, d’autres où tout va mal. Dans chacune de ces phases, Je veux que tu apprennes à t’accrocher à Moi.
Les problèmes t’obligent à exercer ta foi car tu dois y faire face, ce qui t’amène à la phase suivante du cycle : tu M’appelles à l’aide, tu te bats, tu triomphes et tu fais des progrès. C’est comme une roue qui tourne : en même temps que le haut de la roue redescend, le bas remonte et la roue te fait avancer.
Chaque fois que tu affrontes une nouvelle épreuve, il te faut reprendre le combat. Tu relèves le défi, tu M’appelles à l’aide et, une fois de plus, tu triomphes et tu vas de l’avant. De nouvelles épreuves entraînent de nouvelles victoires. Mais si, à un moment quelconque, tu oublies de te tourner vers Moi pour obtenir la solution et trouver la force de te battre jusqu’à la victoire, le cycle est interrompu. Tu demeures en bas et il n’y a plus de mouvement en avant; tu ne vas nulle part.
Donc, au lieu de considérer les moments de crise comme des défaites, vois-les plutôt comme des occasions de progrès. Je sais qu’il est souvent difficile de passer par ces cycles, mais il le faut pour qu’il y ait progrès. Alors, tiens bon !

Millions of Questions

Sometimes you feel like you and your life are one big question mark. You have questions about everything.What is life for, anyway? Why live? Why love? Why learn? Why strive for anything? Why, why, why?
Well, I can match every question mark that exists with either a period or an exclamation point. I have reasons and answers for everything.
I don’t immediately put an end to all your question marks. It takes time. It’s good for you not to know the answers to everything right now. It’s part of life. It teaches you patience and faith.
I answer some questions right away, and others I don’t answer just yet. But I promise you, I’m saving up your questions, and one day we’re going to sit down together and have a good, long chat. I’m going to pull out every one of your question marks from the past and I’m going to match each of them up with one of My periods or exclamation points-the perfect answer for each question. The because for every single why.

Be happy!

The joy of the Lord is your strength! It is My will that you find great joy and great pleasure in serving Me and loving Me. It makes Me happy when I see you enjoying yourself, when I see you happy and laughing. I love to see you laugh. I love to see you happy. So be happy and enjoy yourself and enjoy life. Enjoy your meals, enjoy your house, enjoy your recreation, enjoy your work, enjoy your times together. For in enjoying these, you are enjoying Me. I love to see you happy. So be happy. Don't be afraid to laugh and enjoy yourself.

Como el oro en el horno

Puede que al presente no entiendas algunas cosas, porque aún no ha llegado el momento de que te revele del todo Mi plan, Mi propósito. Pese a que no lo entiendas todo, cree y confía. Mis caminos no son Tus caminos. No se puede conocer la mente de Dios esforzándose por entender y analizarlo todo con mentalidad carnal. Yo revelaré Mis pensamientos y Mis caminos mediante el poder de Mi Espíritu a quienes se muestren receptivos y sumisos, a quienes crean, acepten y aprecien Mi voz con fe y amor.

Les intentions du cœur

Je suis le Créateur de toutes choses et c’est le cœur de l’homme que Je juge. Je connais son cœur et tout ce qui s’y trouve : voilà pourquoi Mon jugement est juste et vrai. Au jour du Jugement, quand vous comparaîtrez devant Moi et que votre vie sera passée en revue, ce seront les actes et les intentions de votre cœur qui compteront pour Moi. Par conséquent, Mon jugement est équitable. Car Je connais le cœur de l’homme et rien ne M’est caché.
Quand tu cherches à faire quelque chose, sache que Je perçois et que Je comprends tes pensées intimes et tes intentions profondes. Alors, dans tout ce que tu fais, sois motivé par l’amour — l’amour qui vient de Moi, l’amour pour les autres et l’amour pour Moi.

Loving thoughts

When others fail you or make seeming mistakes, instead of blowing up in anger and frustration, say, "I pray for these and I love these. I want to help them and make it easy for them." Think thoughts of love toward those who frustrate you. Pray for them.
As you think these thoughts of love and pray these prayers of love, so will the love in your heart be able to permeate your spirit and overcome the pride and selfishness.

All is forgiven

If you were to stand before Me now, you would be so engulfed and overwhelmed by My love, that all the hurts and the pain and the misunderstandings of the past and the present would completely vanish. So great is My love for you that there is no room for sorrow or condemnation. If you were standing before Me, you would feel only total acceptance and total love, because you would know that all is forgiven. There is no fear with Me. I wash away all fear, and there is no fear in My love.
Even though you are still in human flesh, trust that My love for you is no less than when you shall arrive Here and stand before Me. I am no less distant now, and you are every bit as much in My presence. You are just as much forgiven and there is nothing held against you. You are My dear one, My beloved.

Open your heart

Receive My gift of love for others. How do you receive it?—Just as you would receive any gift from Me. You ask, you accept, and you believe. How do you enact it?—One step at a time in one deed of love followed by another, followed by another.
Receive My anointing and enact it day by day, step by step, deed by deed, word by word, action by action, love by love. As you put forth an effort to give and to share and to love, I will match you abundantly, and I will pour into you a greater love, a new love, and a strengthening love.
Therefore be not afraid, just receive. Open your heart and say, "Yes!" Open your heart and say, "I want it!" Open your heart and receive, and it will bring forth fruit in your life, in the lives of those about you, and in the lives of those you see and touch.

I am love

In times of darkness, I will be your light. In times of sadness, I will be your joy. In times of struggle, I will be your deliverance. In times of weakness, I will be your strength. In times of question, I will be your answer. In times of doubt, I will be faith unto you.—And more important than any of this, I am love to you. I love you and I forgive you.
So do not be discouraged or disheartened. Do not look back. Do not be remorseful over the mistakes and sins of the past, for the past is the past. I have covered those mistakes and sins, and that which was scarlet shall be made white as snow. As far as the east is from the west, so far have I removed your sins from you.
In the very moment that you seek My forgiveness, in the very instant that you call out to Me, I immediately grant My forgiveness, and there is no more need to worry or fear or carry the burden yourself.

Ore, ore e ore de novo, pois é algo que adoro, preciso, quero e no qual Me regozijo. Adoro estar em comunicação íntima, para podermos estar unidos. Todas as suas orações são importantes. Ainda que algumas tenham propósitos diferentes, todas são importantes, portanto ore.

Um tempo para cada coisa

Há muitas maneiras de orar. Há momentos para derramar o coração em prantos, buscando-Me em orações fervorosas. Há outros para sentar-se tranqüila e serenamente, buscando-Me em humildade, fazendo suas petições com calma, sussurrando aos Meus ouvidos os seus pedidos e me dizendo o que precisa.
Há momentos quando se ora fazendo outras coisas, fazendo em seu coração pedidos silenciosos, e há horas em que se deve parar, deixar tudo de lado e Me buscar com forte clamor. Tudo isto é importante e tem a sua hora e o seu propósito.
Não é a posição do corpo que conta, mas sim a posição do coração. Demore em oração quando necessário; seja rápido quando o tempo for pouco. Há uma hora para orar rapidamente e uma hora para ser mais demorado, e você precisa aprender a usar as duas coisas de acordo com a necessidade — mas ore! Dependa da oração. Viva de acordo com as suas orações. Não se canse de orar.

Sonhos desmanchados

Há tantas coisas que podem dar errado nesta vida — tantos sonhos desfeitos, tantas perspectivas que não se concretizam, muitas coisas que simplesmente não acontecem da maneira que você tanto queria. E apesar de todos os sonhos desfeitos, das perspectivas que não se concretizam e do que não acontece da forma que esperava, estou aí com você. Do you need someone to understand you, someone who really knows what you’re going through? Well, I know more about what you’re going through than you do.-Honest!
I know every thought that has ever come into your mind. But even though I know your every thought, you still need to get it out. It’ll help you feel better, and help you to see things more clearly. Go ahead and tell Me what’s on your mind. I promise to understand. I’ll listen, and I’ll also tell you things that’ll help.
I love talking with you. You can tell Me anything you want. I’m your friend, and I like to know everything about you-what makes you happy, what bugs you, your hopes, your dreams, your worries-everything. I think you’re interesting.

Stretch Yourself

Life is all about learning! I could have created you perfect and already knowing all there is to know. But that would have been too easy, and it would have taken a lot of the fun out of life. It’s exciting to have challenges and to have to stretch yourself to reach for a goal! Without something to shoot for, life would be empty and meaningless.
Don’t just exist from day to day, or try to do the minimum and just get by with doing as little as you possibly can. Put all you’ve got into whatever you’re doing-your studies, your friendships, and whatever other talents and interests you’re pursuing. If you put your heart into these things, they’ll be a lot more satisfying. Give it your best shot, and you’ll be amazed at what happens.

Re-Focus

When gazing at yourself in the mirror, or at other times of self-inspection, you can tend to blow things out of proportion.
You feel others have it so much better in the way of looks, or qualities, or resilience, or personality, and on and on the list goes. But if you were to just step aside and let Me do the analyzing, and let Me teach you what you do need to change, then you’d feel much more relaxed. You could stop this self-effort of trying to make yourself a certain way, and being blown about with the ever-changing opinions and ideas of those in the world around you. Instead you could focus on what actually is needed, and the things you can and should improve in.
Gaze into My face instead of looking at your own reflection, and you’ll feel a lot better about yourself. I think you’re wonderful!

A menos que se quebrantaran, Yo no podía enseñarles a ser compasivos; no podía enseñarles la empatía, el sincero interés que les hacía falta tener por los demás. No podía concederles todos los hermosos dones de Mi Espíritu que traen aparejados los apuros y los quebrantos.
Por medio de esas aflicciones te estoy enseñando a luchar, no con tu propia fortaleza, sino con Mis fuerzas, valiéndote de la oración y acudiendo a Mí por cada cosa que se te presenta en la vida.

Pourquoi les épreuves ?

« Pourquoi Seigneur… ? te demandes-tu. Pourquoi dois-je passer par tant d’épreuves et de difficultés ? Y aurait-il en moi quelque chose qui Te déplaise ? Je T’aime ; pourquoi me faut-il endurer tout ça ? »
De nombreux chrétiens à travers les âges M’ont posé cette même question. Dans toutes leurs épreuves, c’était Mon Esprit qui opérait en eux; car il fallait qu’ils deviennent faibles pour que Ma force puisse se manifester en eux. Il fallait qu’ils soient brisés pour que Je puisse leur apprendre la compassion, leur donner l’empathie et la sollicitude nécessaire à l’égard des autres; pour que Je puisse leur accorder tous les merveilleux dons de Mon Esprit. Car seuls ceux qui ont connu de tels déchirements, de telles difficultés, sont à même de recevoir ces dons.
Par ces afflictions, Je t’apprends à lutter. Non pas de tes propres forces, mais avec Ma force, par le moyen de la prière et en gardant les yeux sur Moi en toute circonstance.

Don’t go flat. Keep flying high and stay in the game. Let ’em see that you’ve got what it takes. No matter what happens, keep on bouncing. The harder you’re thrown, the higher you can bounce! Don’t let some annoying incident deflate you. Stay in the game and bounce back.

Physical appearance has very little to do with true love. Have you ever noticed someone you consider very pretty or handsome get together with someone who seems at first glance to be rather plain? That’s because when it comes to true love, wise people choose those who have inner depth and charm. They recognize those who are beautiful on the inside-unselfish and caring, mature and loving.
If someone’s heart is empty, or filled with shallow clutter, then good looks aren’t going to get him or her very far. People might notice the best-looking people right away, but while first impressions are strong, once someone really gets to know you, those second impressions are much more lasting. Good looks can also fade, but your inner self is there to stay.
Even if you don’t think you’ve got “it” physically, you can sure have “it” inside. And that’s what matters most.

Ce poids qui t’écrase

Light Up the World

It’s hard to smile sometimes. Do you feel you’re putting on a false front if you look happy and act happy when you don’t necessarily feel that way? Have you gotten the idea that to look cool or sexy you’ve got to appear a little hard and indifferent?
A smile is very powerful. A smile lights up the world that’s so full of darkness. It has creative energy, and it’s contagious. Even if you’re smiling just to cheer someone else up, it somehow cheers you up, too.
A gloomy face can be just as powerful in the opposite way. A long face not only causes you to be more dumpy and depressed yourself, but it brings others down as well.
Even if you don’t feel all good and happy, if you decide that you’re going to wear a smile no matter how you feel, I guarantee that you’ll begin to feel better almost immediately.

Un temps pour toute chose

Il y a mille façons de prier. Parfois, tu t’épancheras devant Moi avec force pleurs et en Me recherchant de tout ton cœur. D’autres fois, tu viendras à Moi dans le calme et la tranquillité, dans l’humilité, M’implorant tout doucement, chuchotant tes requêtes à Mon oreille.
D’autres fois encore, tu prieras une prière silencieuse en pleine action. Ou, au contraire, tu t’arrêteras et, mettant de côté tous tes soucis, tu M’invoqueras dans une prière ardente. Toutes ces formes de prière sont importantes et elles ont leur place.
Ce n’est pas tant la position du corps qui compte mais l’attitude du cœur. Que ta prière soit longue quand la situation l’exige ; qu’elle soit courte lorsque tu es pressé ! Il y a un moment pour tout et tu dois apprendre à tirer parti de ces deux façons de prier, selon les circonstances. Mais, que tes prières soient longues ou qu’elles soient courtes, l’important est que tu pries ! Appuie-toi sur la prière. Vis tes prières. Ne te lasse pas de prier.

Tesoros a tu disposición

Si bien llamo a todos con los brazos abiertos para que vengan y se entreguen a Mí, y así poder comunicarles amor, felicidad, ungimiento, satisfacción y fortaleza, son muy pocos los que optan por acercarse y darse por entero a Mí.
¡Ojalá te dieras cuenta! ¡Ojalá vieras lo que anhelo darte! ¡Cuánto ansío estrecharte en Mis brazos, volver realidad todos tus deseos y hacer estallar tu corazón de alegría, de forma que se desborde y derrame Mi amor sobre los demás! He ahí la verdadera felicidad y contentamiento.

Broken dreams

There are so many things that can and do go wrong in this life—so many broken dreams, so many visions that do not come to pass, so many things that just do not work out the way you so desperately wanted them to. Yet through all the broken dreams, your visions that do not come to pass, the things that don't work out as you had hoped they would, I am there with you. I hold in My hand greater dreams than you've ever dreamed of, more beautiful visions than you've ever seen, and greater things than you've ever hoped for. Your heart has not imagined the fantastic things I have in store for you who love Me, for you who stick it out through thick and thin.

Wheels of progress

There are cycles in life—times in which everything seems to go well, and times when things seem to go badly. I want you to learn to hold on to Me through each phase of the cycle.
Problems cause you to exercise your faith as you rise up to meet them, and that brings the next phase of the cycle: You call on Me for help, and you fight and you win and you make progress. It's like a wheel as it turns: As the top goes down, the bottom comes around to the top and the wheel carries you forward.
Each time you face a new test, you must fight once again. You take up the challenge, call on Me for help, and once again overcome and make more progress. More tests bring more victories. But if at any time you don't seek Me for the solution and fight through to victory, you stop the cycle. You remain at the low point and there is no forward motion; you go nowhere.
So don't look at the low points in your life as defeats, but as opportunities to make forward progress. I know it's often difficult to go through these cycles, but you must in order to keep moving forward, so keep at it!

Choices

The feelings and emotions you experience are a direct result of the choices you make, the thoughts you choose to think, the times you choose to be unselfish, the times you put yourself in another person's place and allow your heart to be broken and moved with compassion and love.
Feelings of love, unity and happiness are My rewards. They are given to you according to your choices and your decisions—how you have determined by your own free will to act and give and respond and sacrifice and understand.

As constant as the sun

The happiness of the spirit is far above the happiness of the flesh, for the happiness of the spirit is something you will always have with you. It is something that will never end. The loneliest nights or the darkest clouds can't take it away from you.
The happiness of the flesh is temporal and a fleeting feeling.—It comes and goes with your mood, with your surroundings, with the physical things that you see, touch and feel. But the happiness of the spirit comes from knowing that I am your Savior, and that I care.
The happiness that I give is as constant as the sun. When the sun sets at night and disappears beneath the horizon, do you worry that it has left forever? Do you say to another, "There is no more sun in our lives"? No, it is constant, always there. Though the night comes and you cannot see the sun, you never doubt its existence, nor that it will rise the next morning. So is the happiness of spirit—though ever-present, the night comes and you lose sight of it. That is the time to trust and rest until morning, until it comes into sight again.

Loving thoughts

When others fail you or make seeming mistakes, instead of blowing up in anger and frustration, say, "I pray for these and I love these. I want to help them and make it easy for them." Think thoughts of love toward those who frustrate you. Pray for them.
As you think these thoughts of love and pray these prayers of love, so will the love in your heart be able to permeate your spirit and overcome the pride and selfishness.

All is forgiven

If you were to stand before Me now, you would be so engulfed and overwhelmed by My love, that all the hurts and the pain and the misunderstandings of the past and the present would completely vanish. So great is My love for you that there is no room for sorrow or condemnation. If you were standing before Me, you would feel only total acceptance and total love, because you would know that all is forgiven. There is no fear with Me. I wash away all fear, and there is no fear in My love.
Even though you are still in human flesh, trust that My love for you is no less than when you shall arrive Here and stand before Me. I am no less distant now, and you are every bit as much in My presence. You are just as much forgiven and there is nothing held against you. You are My dear one, My beloved.

Greater than the ocean

My eye has been upon you since before you were formed in the womb. I have been with you every step of the way. I have watched you. I have loved you. I have cared for you. You have never been out of My sight.
How I long to pour My love upon you! How I long to draw you to My bosom! If you will take time with Me in prayer, and listen to My voice in your heart and through My Word, I will show you My great, great love for you—love which is greater than the ocean, which stretches further than the horizon, which the whole universe with all its stars and galaxies cannot contain, which reaches out of understanding into infinity and eternity.

Enjoy being you!

Enjoy being you, because you are wonderful! Enjoy being you, because you are full of life! Enjoy being you, because you have so much to pour out to others. Enjoy being you, and enjoy My life that I have given you.
Please accept and trust that these Words are with love from My heart personally to you. I love you, and I pray for you, that not only will your faith fail not, but that your faith will grow—your faith in Me and in yourself. I love you.

Magic words

“I’m sorry” can put an end to almost any argument or other problem between people. You may still feel somewhat justified in your position, but if you can at least say you’re sorry for having gotten into an argument and having let whatever it was come between you, you’ll be on the path to reconciliation. Being quick to apologize is one of the smartest things you can do.
Saying you are sorry isn’t always easy. It takes a strong, concerned person to be able to admit being wrong, yet many people consider this a sign of weakness. I’m not talking about having an excuse-me-for-living attitude, where you apologize for everything you do. That is a sign of weak character. But when you get into an argument or make a mistake and have the sense to recognize and admit that you were wrong and apologize, that’s a sign of strength in My book.
There is, however, one word that takes the healing magic out of “I’m sorry.” When you add “but,” it means you’re intent on pressing your point until the other person sees things your way. That’s not the way to overcome differences! Saying “I’m sorry” requires humility, but if you can say it and mean it, it works magic!

Drop the grudge

Holding a grudge does no one any good. A grudge affects everyone involved negatively, and the longer it’s held the more damage it causes. The good news, however, is that it’s never too late to set things straight.
It may not seem so at times, but most people don’t want to go through life hurting others. Grudges are often the results of misunderstandings. It’s such a waste when people are alienated from each other for months or years, all over some misunderstanding that could have been sorted out much quicker if even one of the parties had shown a bit more love and understanding.
It takes a big person to be humble enough to be the first to let go of a grudge. Humble yourself before Me, first of all, and ask Me to remove the cancer by bringing you to the point of truly forgiving the other person in your heart. Do this and I will not only answer your prayer, but also give you the grace needed to humble yourself and ask that person to forgive you for harboring animosity.

Love or hypocrisy?

When you show love and consideration to people you don’t feel particularly drawn to or think deserve it, you’re giving them My love, which goes beyond human love. In fact, this is an even greater manifestation of My love than when you show love to someone you feel close to. This is not being hypocritical or false. To the contrary, it’s fulfilling My commandment to love your neighbor as yourself. You’re acting on My Word, and you’re letting My love move you to do something good.
Even though you may not particularly like someone, that shouldn’t hold you back from loving that person with My love. No one is too bad for Me or beyond the reach of My love, and I want you to help convey that to others. Even though you may not feel that way about them, I do. By showing them love and understanding, you’re giving them My true love.
When you can show loving kindness without partiality, you become a better channel for My love to flow through.
Not only will I bless the ones you show love and consideration to, but I will also bless you. As you continue to give My love, no matter how you feel, love will come back to you. You’ll also have a feeling of fulfillment in being My messenger of love and in doing My will. By giving love freely, you’ll reap more of My love and the fruits of love.

Joint account

What if someone told you, “You just won a million dollars! It’s being deposited in your bank account today!” You would be elated! You’d be so happy, you’d run around telling everyone, and then you’d plan how to spend the money. You’d think of all the comfort and enjoyment this money would bring you, and how you could use some of it to help others.
Well, did you know that you have much more than that at your disposal? When you received Me as your Savior, I added your name to My own account with the Bank of Heaven. Now what’s Mine is yours! You have unlimited spiritual resources that could make your life better in every way—more than enough for you and others, no matter how much you give away—and that’s the point. “Freely you have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).
How do you get these blessings?—By withdrawing from our account in the Bank of Heaven. Just come to Me in prayer. Draw on My love, peace, solutions, supply, satisfaction, and much, much more. Then pass the blessings on to others. This is the surest way to make and keep friends—by giving them the true riches, heavenly gifts that will never pass away.

Make time for people

It’s easy to be a good person, but still be wrapped up in your own little world. After all, you already have more work and other responsibilities than you feel you can keep up with. It’s no surprise that there’s so little time for reaching out to others.
When I was on earth, I was also a busy man, especially during My public ministry. I had only about three and a half years to accomplish My mission, but I still took time for people—even some who others thought weren’t worth My time. I let the children come to Me. I talked with the Samaritan woman at the well. I noticed Zacchaeus up in the tree and asked to spend the evening with him in his house. I also took time to personally encourage a thousand others—conversations so numerous and seemingly everyday that they didn’t make it into the Gospels, yet each had a big impact on someone’s life. If I could take the time to stop and show a little love and kindness and understanding to those around Me, you can too.
As you show love in the little things, I will pour more of My love into you, so you will have more to give and more to enjoy. You’ll find this “extra” giving of yourself is really no sacrifice at all. I will more than make it up to you in added inspiration and other blessings, and so will those you make time for.

Failure is opportunity

History is full of stories of people who were either blind to their faults and mistakes or refused to acknowledge them, and their pride was their downfall. How different things could have turned out if they would have been humble enough to admit when they were wrong.
What about you? Do you hide your mistakes? Or do you take the courageous path of owning up to them? Believe Me, most people will respect you more if you do. Sure, some people may rub it in or try to use your humbling for their own advantage, but that’s their problem and does not indicate a weakness in your own character.
In the long run, character determines your worth. It’s not the easy successes that prove your mettle, but how you pick yourself up after a fall and try again. By acknowledging and going on in spite of your failures, you’ll also inspire others to not give up.
Failure is a step forward when you learn from it. Failure prepares the way for success by causing you to look hard at your plans and methods. If all those who eventually succeeded at what they set out to do had stopped at the first failure, you’d still be back in the Stone Age! Aren’t you glad others took advantage of their failures? Won’t you do the same?

Embrace change

Are you set in your ways, or do you embrace new ideas? Do you welcome suggestions from others? Are you open to learning and trying new things? Are you willing to change things if someone else finds a better way?
It’s often easier to keep doing things the old way than it is to change, or at least it can seem so at first. Change takes time and effort, but good changes are worth it in the long run. You shouldn’t resist change, but you shouldn’t go to the other extreme either of changing things just for the sake of change.
Some things never change—My love for you and My basic commandments and promises in the Bible—but in other areas I delight in change. Situations change. People change. You change! I don’t like things to stagnate. I like innovation and progress, and I want you to as well. Be flexible. Flow with the new and move with Me, and you’ll be much easier for Me and others to work with.
How do you know whether or not a certain change would be beneficial? The surest way is to ask Me. Get My stamp of approval. I can help you recognize opportunities for positive change and spare you from missteps. If a new idea has My blessing, your efforts will be rewarded as you act on it.
